How compliance works
How Armory Intel tracks officer qualifications and surfaces expirations before they become a problem.
Armory Intel tracks each officer's qualifications and rolls them up into a single compliance status, so you always know who's current and who needs attention.
Compliance statuses
Every officer shows one of:
- Compliant — all required qualifications are current
- Warning — a required qualification is expiring soon
- Expired — a required qualification has lapsed
- None — the officer has never recorded a required qualification
These appear on the dashboard, on the personnel roster, and in the Qualifications section — for example, Chief Diana Lawson #001 — Non-compliant.
How expirations are flagged
Each qualification type has a validity period and a warning window (for example, 30 days). When an officer's qualification falls inside that window, they move to Warning; once it lapses, they move to Expired. This is what powers the “22 expired, 2 expiring” style counts on the dashboard.
Set the warning window per qualification type so high-stakes certifications get more lead time. This is configured by an Admin under Settings.
What to do next
- Record a qualification for an officer
- Review who's missing required qualifications in the Qualifications section
