Recording a qualification
Add a qualification record for an officer and keep their compliance status current.
When an officer passes a qualification, record it so their compliance status updates and future expiration warnings are tracked.
Open the officer
From Personnel, open the officer's profile — for example, Cpl. Jordan Bishop #081 — or start from the Qualifications section.
Add the qualification
Select Record qualification and choose the qualification type (e.g., Duty Handgun Qualification). Enter the details:
- Date passed
- Score (optional)
- Instructor (optional)
Save
Save the record. The expiration date is calculated from the qualification type's validity period, and the officer's compliance status updates automatically.
To extend an existing qualification rather than create a new one, use Renew on the qualification record. See Renewals & expiration warnings.
