Logging maintenance
Record maintenance performed on an item.
When service is performed, log it so the item's history is complete and its next due date is recalculated.
Open the item
From inventory, open the item that was serviced.
Log the maintenance
Select Log maintenance and record the maintenance type, date performed, technician, and any notes.
Save
Save the log. The item's maintenance clock resets, so its next due date is calculated from this service.
While an item is out for service, set its status to Maintenance so it isn't issued in the meantime.
